I’m glad I’m not the project manager tasked with trying to make sense out of the US Transport Security project. Can you imagine? All those different US Government agencies pitching in with their ideas.
One of the case studies for my book was about the difficulties two US Government departments had trying to agree how to handle war veterans’ medical records – a cause you can imagine bureaucrats feeling at least a little bit patriotic about and therefore trying to do the best for the end user, the person trying to get treatment.
This project is for security checks on people working in transport. Maybe important, but getting all those stakeholders to agree on anything will be a nightmare.
