Protecting your details
If you opt in to the newsletter your contact details will be stored securely and never sold or given to anyone else. You can unsubscribe at any time, although that would be a shame.
I reserve the right to edit any comments you make on this site. In the main this means deleting links to your company’s products when you are trying to use the comments for advertising. Just so you know, links in the comments are no_follow.
This site is copyright
As I say on the About page, all content is copyright. Don’t steal it. Ask before reprinting it. Ask before translating it. You never know, I might say yes!
I also use Google Analytics cookies to track the number of visitors to the site. I do this because it helps me tailor the content more effectively, and I can use the data when I talk to advertisers, as they are always interested in how many people will see their advert. I’ve also enabled Google Analytics Demographics and Interests reports. You can opt out of Google’s tracking here.
The Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 is supposed to protect your personal data, and stop websites from tracking your habits. Implementing the law is difficult. I’m doing my best – I have disabled the plugins that seem to me the most intrusive. If you spot anything that you think I should be doing differently, please let me know.
If you follow the advice on this blog, and your project goes wrong, I’m sorry, but that’s your responsibility.
I reserve the right to change these terms at any time, without letting you know. However, I’m a pretty trustworthy person, so I’m not going to change them to anything outlandish – don’t panic.
